![]() The manga isn't as bad as some people say, like anything and everything in life, it has it's pros and cons. The manga's drawings are messy, yes, but I still like them, it makes it unique and guess in the 2nd season it will be polished. While I'm waiting I started reading the manga and I am waiting for the next chapter! ![]() I started 2 weeks ago and I am currently waiting for the 2 last episodes of this season. If the titan's appearances is somehow humanity's fault, do we forgive them for all the pain? Could all of these deaths be avoided? The feelings it incites are a lot more complicated now than it was when it was just a Us vs Them manga but I think that's a good thing I like that it became a man vs man story but still keeping the importance of titans. But not one chapter has ever made me feel bored. The ones you need to look at are pretty distinct though, but I guess it's a bit of a problem if I had trouble distinguishing between Christi and Armin in the scenes when they are together.Ī little warning though!! Although the manga has a lot of action, the focus shifts more towards politics rather quickly and the pace slows down a bit. That takes a lot away from the connections to the characters (the anime amends that flaw though). ![]() ![]() The art is a little generic and I honestly had trouble recognizing who dies. If you read the manga then re-read or watch the anime then the signs are just being flung in your faces. ![]() But I have yet to see someone accurately prove that the author pulled everything out of his ass. I admit that the foreshadowing is a little too subtle and it's just one shock after another. I feel like a lot of the lower ratings are from people that were expecting a different turn in the plot.I was fully prepared for just about everyone to die too but the revelations of the main character made the manga 100% more interesting in my opinion. ![]()
